the service sectors of the Shipping Industry. Over the last two decades, the Group

Marine Inc (C.M.I.) is a ship management company within the Oceanbulk Group,
providing shipmanagement services to third-parties, having separate legal
status, premises, directorship, management and shareholder structure. Oceanbulk
on the other hand, provides in-house ship management services to the owned
fleet.
Other companies of the group include Interchart (chartering brokers),
Sentinel (Insurance brokerage), More Maritime (crewing managers). C.M.I.'s link with Oceanbulk Maritime SA
provides significant advantages such as:
(a) economies of scale due to the number of vessels (34) operated by
the two companies and
(b) integration of shipping activities undertaken by the Group's
affiliates so that every maritime service is provided from within the
group.
This ensures
immediacy, close control, market presence and confidentiality.
The competitive
advantage on administrative costs works to the benefit of our clients,
given the lower cost levels in Greece. Most importantly, our affiliated companies
operate as separate cost centers as opposed to profit centers for services
rentered within the groups. Our fees are comprehensive and cover all the
necessary activities to effectively manage the ship without add-on costs.
